Itinerary
1. You will be picked up at your city center hotel and start to enjoy the wonderful night sightseeing tour in Beijing. You will have the chance to enjoy the night view of a city that combine the ancient and modern elements. Your first stop will be the Olympic Park. You can see the illuminated Bird's Nest and Water Cube in the evening.
2. Of China's top 10 new architectural miracles appraised by Business Week, the best-selling American financial magazine in the world, the National Stadium, also known as Bird's Nest and the National Aquatics Center, or Water Cube, took the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively. Your guide will help you to take nice photos.
3. Water Cube "is the nickname of Beijing National Aquatics Center. This name is widely used to describe this iconic building located in Beijing, which was the main venue for water sports such as swimming and diving during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
4. Drive by the Landmark structures of Bell tower and Drum tower of old Beijing. Where surrounding by the the old Hutongs.
5. Yandaixie Street (Tobacco Pouch Tilt Street) is a famous commercial street specializing in the sales of tobacco pouches, calligraphy and paintings and jade articles during the Qing Dynasty (1616 - 1911). It is the oldest business street in Beijing with a history of about 800 years. Where you can enjoy the shopping traditional souvenirs.
6. At end of the Yandaixie street is the famous Houhai lake, where has hundreds bars around the lakes. Strolling to Houhai lake bar area to experience local people's night life.
7. Passby the famous landmark Jingshan park, the last emperor of Ming dynasty suicide himself there.
8. Infront of the Jingshan park is the 600 years old emperor's palace, the Forbidden City. You will see the lit up city wall and corner tower.
9. Then you will reach to the largest city center Square in the world，the Tiananmen Square. Amazing at its scale - Tiananmen Square is considered the political center of China. Follow the tour guide to explore the surrounding buildings and learn about the history behind them.
10. It is one of the landmark buildings of the new "Sixteen Scenic Spots of Beijing", located on the west side of Tiananmen Square in the center of Beijing. It looks like an egg floating on water, and amazing when the lights on.
11. The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall appears particularly solemn in the darkness of night. Where is in the center of Tiananmen Square.
12. Chang'an Avenue, the central avenue of Beijing, is a must-visit destination for tourists. The bustling atmosphere makes the capital city seem more illuminating.
13. Lying on Beijing's historical central axis just south of Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City, the newly renovated Qianmen Street is fast becoming one of the most popular sites for a walking tour in Beijing. Thousands of traditional shops are scattered on both sides of the street, making strolling more interesting. Tonight, immerse yourself in the ancient cultural street.
