3. Your first stop is Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Spend some time walking around the red sandstone courtyard. It was built in 1656 with the help of 5000 workers. It is situated in front of the royal residence 'Red Fort', in the midst of Chandni chowk.

4. Red Fort is a massive structure built by Shah Jahan between 1639-1648. It served as the main residence for the Mughal emperors. The architecture of the fort reflects upon the Indo-Islamic and Mughal style. Amazing fact is that it has a 2 KM long wall which is sure to impress anyone.
5. Visit the famous market for spices in the Chandni Chowk. Let all your senses feel the Indian Spices like never before. Get to know some interesting facts and uses of spices.
6. The 1921 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier' has names of 13,300 Indian army servicemen carved on the wall who died during the First World War.

7. It is said that in the year 1664, the eighth Sikh Guru came to visit the King and cured people who were contracted with smallpox and cholera epidemic by distributing them water from the tank. That water tank, used by the Guru, still exists today inside the gurudwara and is believed to possess medicinal properties.

13. This is optional Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi, India. Originally it was the name of a historic ghat in Old Delhi. Close to it, and east of Daryaganj was Raj Ghat Gate of the walled city, opening at Raj Ghat to the west bank of the Yamuna River. Later the memorial area was also called Raj Ghat.

14. This will be your last stop in Delhi. Lotus Temple is a Bahá'í House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. Notable for its flower-like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city.
