Overview

Our accredited guide will meet you at your hotel or our office and will accompany you during the whole expedition, up to the summit of Pisco Mountain (5752m). Walking on its glacier does not require previous experience. The 360° view from the summit will let you see Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Huandoys, Artesonraju and Chacraraju peaks.

Itinerary

1. Huaraz
Day 1: pick up at 6AM from hotel in Huaraz, 3-hours drive to Yuraq Corral and 4-hours walk to base camp (or refugio if available) for the first night.
Duration: 1440 mins
2. Huaraz
Day 2: wake up at 2AM, walk 3 hours on moraine and 4 hours on glacier to reach the summit. After a 40 minutes pause to enjoy the view, 3 hours walk back to base camp to sleep.
Duration: 1440 mins
3. Huaraz
Day 3: after breakfast, a 3 hours walk back and 3 hours drive to Huaraz. Option to visit Laguna 69 on the way.
Duration: 1440 mins
