1. Castel Gandolfo
Situated on a hilltop in the Alban Hills with panoramic views of Lake Albano, Castel Gandolfo is renowned as one of Italy's most scenic towns. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy"). Here you can see the Apostolic Palace of Castel Gandolfo, which served as a summer residence and vacation retreat for the pope.

The Albano lake is a volcanic lake located in the province of Rome in the Castelli Romani area, on the Alban Hills.

Positioned almost in the center of the Alban Hills, at 521 m above sea level, Nemi is the second smallest municipality in the Castelli Romani area after Colonna, known for the cultivation of strawberries and for the related festival, which takes place every year on the first Sunday of June. The historic center is located in a panoramic position on Lake Nemi.

Lake Nemi is a small volcanic lake, 25 meters higher than Lake Albano, on the Alban Hills in the Castelli Romani territory.

Formerly called Riccia or simply 'A Riccia of the is one of the best known and most popular places in the Castelli Romani, both for the tourist relevance of the Chigiano monumental complex and for the historical and architectural importance of Bernini's works, and for the religious importance of the sanctuary of Santa Maria di Galloro.
