1. Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Your local friendly guide will greet you at the arrival hall of the cruise ship terminal with your name sign. Follow your guide and hop onto comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy about 1-hour relaxing ride to Zhujiajiao ancient water town. Famed as the “Little Oriental Venice”, with about 1700 years history, it is one of the best-preserved ancient water towns near the city. Upon arrival, spend some quality time with your guide to explore the charming town with winding canals, ancient bridges, stone paved alley streets, old houses, historic landmarks, different local stores full of colorful handicrafts, get a great insight into fantastic local culture, custom from your knowledgeable guide. In additional, enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the water canals to fully appreciate the beautiful township scenery.

2. Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road)
After the morning activities, take a break and savor a delightful local lunch with the recommendations from your guide based on your own dietary requests. In the afternoon, enjoy a flexible customized itinerary in the city and choose to visit some of incredible highlights based on your own preferences, following are recommended sites but if you have been to the places or have other interests please feel free to let your guide know and will make the adjustment accordingly.

3. Yuyuan Old Street
Enjoy the fun explore in the “China town” area of the city. With well preserved Qing Dynasties architecture, cross the lucky nine zig-zag bridge in middle lake of the town, immerse yourself in the fabulous view of both old and new Shanghai. You may choose to visit the elegant Yu garden in the area with five century history, built with peaceful ponds, pavilions, famed Taihu rockeries, beautiful flowers and trees etc while learn the profound history and ancient wisdom, culture from your guide.

4. The Bund (Wai Tan)
Continue the tour to the top attraction at Bund, known as “Former British concession” built after the Opium War. Here ,take a relaxing stroll along the waterfront of Huangpu river, take in the wonderful city view of both 20th century colonial architectures and 21st futuristic skyscrapers such as Shanghai Tower, Oriental Pearl TV Tower ,100-story Shanghai World Financial Tower , lucky 88-story Jinmao Tower as well as Shanghai custom house etc. Set your cameral ready and capture one of the best photos in the town.

5. Former French Concession
If you have been to the above-mentioned sites, feel free to tell your guide and you could substitute to other places such as Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Urban Planning Museum, French Concession at Xintiandi ,Tianzifang or even experience the modern maglev train ride etc. based on the time you have. After the wonderful excursion you will be dropped off at the cruise terminal or your downtown hotel if you need check in at hotel.
