This is a Private, Walking Tour. NOTE: What makes this walking tour unique is that, in most cases, we take our guests into several locations. We limit the number of guests on each tour to 20; because of this, this tours tends to sell out quickly. This is where it all began, in 1856. This walking tour is a fun adventure through the oldest and most trendy neighborhood in Denver. You will be treated haunted stories. As a bonus, we will provide the option to enter the National Ballpark Museum, free of charge. This museum has one of the largest collections of baseball and ballpark memorabilia in the nation.

You will meet your group, street level, in front of the sign that reads “Waxing the city”. You do not need to go down stairs. The address is 1664 Market Street.

We will end the tour at 19th and Blake, at the National Ballpark Museum, a few blocks from the starting location. This gives you quick access to some to the best shops and restaurants in the city.

Itinerary

1. The Clocktower Cabaret
This one of the most iconic buildings in Denver. This clock tower was patterned after the famous St. Mark's Campanile, in Venice Italy. Although the St. Marks fell in 1902, this beauty has stood the test of time.

2. 16th Street Mall
The number one tourist attraction in Denver. This is the final stop on the tour. After the tour ends, you will have a delightful time shopping, eating, or having a drink, at over 1.5 miles of retail space. The 16th Street Mall offers free buses that run continually all day long.

3. Larimer Square
The is the oldest part of Denver, and has the honor of being named "Historic District #1". This trendy area, will fill your senses with the smell of local coffee shops, and boutique shopping. This area is only one of two places left in the United States, featuring Western Victorian architecture.

4. Corridor 44
This haunted, former speakeasy is known for it's scandalous past. The most infamous story about this location is tale that involved a mob boss, his daughter, and murder.

5. Brass Tacks
This one of the oldest saloons in Denver. It was one of the first buildings to be built, after the 1863 great fire of Denver. The building is full of haunts and history.

6. Rockmount Ranch Wear
This is a western institution. The original owner,"Papa Jack", made history, as the oldest CEO in America. This store is the supplier to almost every western movie ever made, including "Electric Horseman", "The Misfits", and "Brokeback Mounttain". The walls are adored with pictures of many of their famous clientele, including Elvis Presley, Ronald Regan, James Garner, Tom Brady, to name a few. This is a must see. In most cases, we do go into this location.

7. Denver Union Station
This turn of the century train station has been beautifully revitalized into a modern day hot spot, with some of the best shops, bars and restaurants in the city of Denver. This is the go to spot, for locals and tourist alike. In most cases we go into this location.

8. The Oxford Club, Spa & Salon
This is the oldest hotel in Denver. Built in 1891, it has it share of haunts and scandals. The bar, inside of the hotel, a former speakeasy, is as famous at the the hotel itself. Its Art Deco architecture was designed after the luxury cruise ship, the "Queen Mary". This experience is like walking through the "Wild West". In most cases we go into this location.

9. Mcgregor Square
This area is the newest hotspot in Denver. This metropolitan area, combines restaurants, bars, and a central entertainment complex. It’s s great place to return to after the tour, in order to have a bite, watch your favorite sporting event on the oversized screens, listen to a band, or even watch an outdoor movie.

10. Coors Field
This beautiful baseball stadium is solely responsible for the revitalization of the lower downtown area of Denver. Because of it's popularity, the stadium has created enclave of trendy restaurants, bars, and unique shops.

This is the trendiest place in Denver. An alleyway, which has been repurposed, into a Hot Spot, restaurants, shops, and bars, line this oasis in the city. In most cases we go into this location.

12. National Ballpark Museum
You will be treated to the option of free admission to the National Ballpark Museum. This Museum has one of the largest collections of baseball memorabilia in the country. Stay as long as you would like.
