1. Zhongshan District

Eat your way around Taipei with a like-minded Local Host. Explore traditional markets where locals buy fresh ingredients and tasty snacks like indulgent rice cakes with peanuts and thousand layer scallion bread. Stop by hole-in-the-wall eateries where your dish is flash-cooked in front of your eyes.

2. Songjiang Market

You vcan visit this down-to-earth, covered marketplace with sellers of produce & traditional local specialties. Visit unique eateries and queue up with the locals who are waiting for their favourite dish. Your Local Host will take you to the best spots to sample some of Taipei’s classic dishes like stinky tofu and gua bao.

3. Lane 199, Jilin Road

Visit the nearby parks to work off your food while travelling to the many other restaurants in the area.

4. Datong
