1. The Louwman Museum is a museum for historic cars, coaches, and motorcycles. It is considered one of the most valuable collections in the world and it houses some of the most famous car-making companies in history such as DAF & MAN, Horch, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Fiat and Rolls-Royce.The museum is located in the heart of The Hague in the Netherlands. 2. The Kunstmuseum Den Haag is the main museum of modern and contemporary art in The Hague. It is located on the Museumpark, next to the Royal Palace so that it can be easily accessed by public transportation. The Kunstmuseum Den Haag is a museum of modern and contemporary art, as well as a major tourist attraction for The Hague. Visitors are able to see an extensive collection of paintings and sculptures from all over the world, going from old masters to modern artists. The building was designed by Willem Marinus Dudok in 1931 and opened its doors in 1937. The museum has been closed for restoration since 2009, but will reopen its doors in 2020 with a new name: NEMO - National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.
3. Madurodam is a miniature city located in the Hague, Netherlands. It is a tourist attraction that has been open to the public since 1952. It has been called "Europe's most popular miniature park" by the Guinness World Records and it is visited by more than 1 million people each year. Madurodam is famous for its scale models of famous Dutch landmarks and for its size, which allows visitors to explore the city on foot from one end to another in about 45 minutes.
4. Escher in the Palace is a tour that provides an exploration of the work of Dutch artist M.C. Escher and its influence on design, architecture, and culture. The tour visits five locations in Rome where Escher's work is displayed: Palazzo Massimo alle Terme, Museo della Repubblica Romana, Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna, Museo di Roma in Trastevere, and the Basilica di San Pietro in Vincoli.
5. The Binnenhof is the oldest building in The Hague. It was first built in 1245 as a residence for the Counts of Holland and was later expanded to become the seat of government. In this section, we will provide a brief history of the Binnenhof, a tour around its premises, and mention some interesting facts about it.
6. The Ridderzaal is the central focal point of the Binnenhof and stands in the wonderful Hall of Knights courtyard inside the complex. The building is used as a place where the Dutch parliament is opened by the prime minister, and also hosts royal receptions. The Mauritshuis was founded in 1765 as a private collection by consul-general Johan Maurits van Nassau-Siegen. It has been open to the public since 1819.
7. The Peace Palace is a building for the administration of law and houses several different bodies including the International Court of Justice.
8. The rest of the time you will be driving from Amsterdam to The Hague and back.
