Overview

Just arrived in Krakow? Start here. I’m a passionate historian and licensed Kraków guide since 2017, with years of experience showing visitors around the city. Join me for a relaxed 2-hour walk through Krakow’s historic heart, from the medieval Old Town to Wawel Hill — a great introduction to the city for first-time visitors. Along the way, you’ll discover how Krakow grew from a medieval town into one of Poland’s most important cities, with stories about kings, merchants, students and ordinary Krakowians, as well as local legends and curious details. We’ll also talk about Krakow today — Polish culture, local customs, food and everyday life — so you can better understand the city during your stay. By the end, you’ll have a great overview of Krakow, its history and landmarks, plus plenty of ideas for what to see, eat and do next. This is a tip-based tour: Viator charges only a small admin fee. At the end, leave the guide a tip based on how much you enjoyed the tour.
