Itinerary

1. Chantilly Castle Chantilly is one of the most impressive palaces and estates located north of Paris, one of the jewels of French heritage. Ancestral home of the Prince of Condé and the Duke of Aumale, it is located in 7,800 hectares of forest. It is a museum itself with a treasure of 1000 paintings, 2500 drawings, 2500 engravings by Raphaël, Ingres, Wateau, Poussin, Delacroix… and 30,000 precious books. It contains remarkable collections of furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries. The Galerie des Batailles is once again open to the public to see the sumptuous, fully restored decor and twelve paintings depicting the victories of the Prince of Condé.
Duration: 240 mins
2. The castle gardens After this visit, you will stroll through the “French-style” gardens. The oldest was designed by Le Notre in the 17th century but you will have the rare privilege of having the same site of a unique Anglo-Chinese garden with its hamlet giving the place an incomparable romantic atmosphere.
Duration: 2 mins
3. The horse museum You will follow this tour by visiting the Grandes Écuries with its living horse museum located in this largest estate in Europe, a masterpiece of the 18th century. There are 30 show horses.
