Go to the corner of Hull & Snow Hill St. Your guide will meet you at the table (next to the gate on the eastern corner)

Pickup Information

Pickup not available at Boston Logan Airport. You will receive a message two days before the tour with your guide's information. Our tour vehicles have a blue Boston Hidden Gems logo on the front doors. We will pick you up outside your hotel in Boston/Cambridge.

Itinerary

1. The Paul Revere House
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive to the North End to begin your tour. Join Boston’s Freedom Trail and see Old North Church, the famous statue of Paul Revere and more. Visit the historic Paul Revere House and follow along as Paul's nine year old daughter Frances shows you her home!

2. USS Constitution
Step aboard "Old Ironsides" and discover why this 1797 ship never lost a battle! Kids love the captain's quarters and hammocks below deck, and the steering wheel photo opportunity above deck. (Weather and ship open hours permitting.)

3. Bunker Hill Monument
Listen to the story of the battle of Bunker Hill and the Siege of Boston! Learn how George Washington and Henry Knox kicked the British out of Boston! Then make sure the kids are exhausted by hiking up the 294 steps to the top. (Weather and monument open hours permitting)

4. Boston Public Garden
After driving through scenic Beacon Hill, take a short walk through America's first botanical garden. Take a photo with the beloved Make Way for Ducklings statues!

5. Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum
Drive by the Boston Tea Party Museum & Ships for a quick look at the harbor where patriots dumped 342 chests of tea!
6. Castle Island
End your adventures at Castle Island, former home of the oldest fortified military site in British America. Walk around Fort Independence, view Boston Harbor and watch planes land and take off from Logan Airport! On the drive home, it’s time to challenge kids (and parents!) with a fun quiz about what you’ve learned - Every kid who tries, gets a prize! After a fun-filled day, your guide will drop you back at your hotel.

Note that per Massachusetts state law: "All children riding in passenger motor vehicles must be in a federally approved child passenger restraint that is properly fastened and secured according to the manufacturer's instructions until they are 8 years old OR over 57 inches tall." We do not provide child seats, please bring age appropriate car seats for kids who do not meet these criteria. We will not be able to do the tour if you do not have child seats for everyone that needs one. A refund will not be issued the day of the tour due to lack of proper car seats. All children must be registered as separate tour guests.

Note: The Bunker Hill Monument is closed Monday-Tuesday, so we cannot climb the monument on those days. The USS Constitution is closed to visitors on Mondays. In addition, the National Park Service may have additional closures at either location due to weather and/or other safety considerations.

Note: Though over 200 years old, USS Constitution is an active navy ship. Entrance is via a security checkpoint, and photo ID is typically required for guests age 18+

With the exception of service animals, no animals are allowed on the tour.

Luggage - note that luggage will decrease vehicle capacity. If you have luggage, please let us know in your booking comments so we can confirm we will be able to safely handle it.
