Discover the Andes Mountains on a private tour of the Maipo Cajon from Santiago, combining mountain scenery, nature and a flexible itinerary at your own pace. After pickup from your hotel, we will travel through the Maipo Valley between rivers of thaw, mountain formations and natural viewpoints, stopping in the traditional village of San José de Maipo, historic heart of the area. The highlight is the El Yeso Reservoir, known for its turquoise waters and spectacular Andean surroundings. Enjoy time to walk, take in the scenery and take pictures before continuing the experience. When you book, you can choose between visiting El Yeso Reservoir or a more complete experience that also includes the entrance to the Colina Valley Baths, where you can relax in hot spring wells surrounded by the mountain range. Before returning to Santiago, we will make a short stop at a local artisan chocolate shop.
