Itinerary
1. Explore the 400-hectare natural West Coast rainforest and enjoy scenic views of water, mountains, sky, and majestic trees along Stanley Park's famous Seawall.
2. The Lions Gate Bridge is an iconic suspension bridge that connects Vancouver to North Vancouver at the entrance to the Port of Vancouver.
3. Located at the far west tip of West Vancouver on the North Shore, Horseshoe Bay is a pretty little village. The attraction marks the start of the beautiful Sea to Sky highway that links Metro Vancouver with Whistler.
4. There are few highways in the world with as much awe-inspiring scenery as the Sea-to-Sky Highway. Officially known as BC Highway 99, this legendary route from Vancouver to Whistler and beyond is a drive with incredible sights at just about every turn. It's also filled with fun stops, including outdoor destinations, cultural points of interest and historic sites. So grab your map, plot the course and head out for a weekend of adventure along the Sea-to-Sky Highway.
5. Enjoy ever-changing views of Howe Sound with friends on the Summit Lodge Deck. Explore the network of summit trails. Hike in the summer, snowshoe or backcountry ski in the winter, do yoga or relax and enjoy one of our many events including free live music nights at the Summit Lodge.
6. Located in beautiful Britannia Beach just 10 minutes south of Squamish, this 10-acre award-winning museum and National Historic Site is full of all-ages fun including rock and mineral activities, gold panning, museum tours and an underground mine train that you can ride on yourself. It rocks!
7. The waterfall is fed by the waters of Shannon Creek, which flows down from the mountains of the Coast Range. The falls are easily accessible by a short walk from the parking lot and are a popular destination for visitors. The area around Shannon Falls offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, rock climbing, and picnicking. The Stawamus Chief Provincial Park is located nearby, which features hiking trails that lead to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the Howe Sound. Visitors to Shannon Falls can also explore the interpretive center, which offers information about the geology and ecology of the area, as well as the cultural history of the local First Nations people. Overall, Shannon Falls is a beautiful natural attraction that showcases the stunning beauty of British Columbia's natural environment and offers a range of activities for visitors to enjoy.
8. Situated on the rugged coastline along the shores of Howe Sound in West Vancouver, the scenic mountains and passing boats offer spectacular views for visitors to Whytecliff Park to enjoy. Not only does Whytecliff Park have a series of hiking trails but you can also explore the beach and island area, have a family picnic in the park, or even scuba dive in what's known as a famous area for underwater diving.
9. Situated on the most southerly fjord in North America, Porteau Cove Provincial Park features waterfront campsites with a view over Howe Sound to the mountains beyond. An old ship has been sunk to provide interest for scuba divers and to attract marine life. There are special facilities for divers. Adjacent train tracks are active and occasional noise disturbance may occur.
10. Nestled in a beautiful bay at the foot of a forest-clad mountain, it’s easy to imagine Sunset Marina as a wild and remote northern location. Yet, it’s less than a half-hour drive from Vancouver along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway.
11. Tunnel Point is a Tourist attraction located at Sea-to-Sky Hwy with a spectacular view.
12. Historic lighthouse situated at the park's eastern tip, offering views of Coal Harbour.
