Overview

Step into Melbourne’s past on this immersive walking tour through storied Carlton and the University of Melbourne. Designed for curious travellers and locals, it offers a deeper understanding of the city’s history, architecture, and culture. You’ll hear fascinating stories of visionaries, migrants, and rebels while discovering hidden spots most visitors miss. With time to soak in the atmosphere (and enjoy a coffee break), this is more than just a walk—it’s a new way to experience Melbourne. About your guide: Cherida A lifelong learner with a passion for exploration, I’ve traveled extensively and love walking tours—they’re the best way to get oriented, meet people, and uncover hidden gems. I created this tour to share that experience in my own city. Keeping it small allows for deeper engagement, personalized insights, and the flexibility to explore details larger groups miss. As a proud Melburnian, I can’t wait to share Carlton with you.
