Itinerary
1. Move on with the tour and reach Circus Maximus , the largest stadium in Ancient Rome, built for chariot races. Imagine to be taking part of one of the Circus Maximus chariot races competitions in which participants tried to complete seven laps of the Circus Maximus. The competitors, mounted in small chariots drawn by horses, gambled much more than their prestige or large prizes in the races, since many of them were slaves fighting for their liberty.
2. The Palatine Hill is one of the Seven Hills of Rome and it is one of the most ancient parts of the city as it stands right above the Roman Forum and upon the Circus Maximus.
3. Of course once that you will have visited the Circus Maximus, you cannot miss the chance to admire the Campidoglio ( = Capitoline Hill) by night! It is inevitable that you will be charmed by the stunning panoramas of Roman Forum from there.
4. Passando – You will drive along the Altare della Patria, located in Piazza Venezia! The Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele was inaugurated in 1911 as a tribute to Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of Italy after the country's unification.
5. Your next stop will be the lovely Pantheon located on Piazza della Rotonda! Take some stunning pictures of this charming place illuminated by night lights.
