Overview
Set sail for a day and enjoy an unforgettable experience at sea circumnavigating Milos, passing by its highlights, and visiting Poliegos and its fantastic waters. Travel in comfort on a large 47-foot sailing boat with a maximum of 12 passengers. Take in a fun, relaxing atmosphere with a day of sightseeing, great food and drinks, swimming, snorkeling, exploring caves, sunbathing or just relaxing and having a drink in the boat's shade. Undoubtedly a day to remember!
Meeting and Pickup
Our boats are located at the port of Adamas at the pier across the MENTOR CAFE. Look out for Polco sailing flags and banners. Boats name is NIKI L, a 55-foot, grey color sailing boat.

We will be sending you two essential emails a day before your cruise. Please ensure you check your inbox carefully and respond if any action is required. Meeting We meet at the port at the Polco location (Adamas Port, across from Mentor Cafe, next to the fish market) 30 minutes before departure to allow enough time for check-in. Please make sure to arrive on time, as no refund can be issued if you miss your cruise. What to bring Sailing with Polco is a carefree experience. Just bring your essentials, including: - Swimsuit - Towel - Sunscreen - Hat and sunglasses for sun protection - Cellphone or camera to capture the beautiful moments Our yachts are equipped with snorkeling gear and flotation noodles, but feel free to bring your own mask and flippers if you prefer. For early or late season trips, we recommend bringing a light windproof jacket for when the temperature cools as the sun sets. Polco sailing reserves the right to modify the cruise itinerary due to weather conditions.

Itinerary
1. Cape Vani, the abandoned manganese and iron mine.The old mine used in the 19th century is a huge and deep opening at the edge of the cape, by the sea, surrounded by rocks vertically cut, with horizontal layers in black and ruby red color. Our crew will tell you the story of this historical landmark as you take photos of this breathtaking landscape. 2. Kalogries is an inaccessible bay on the West side of Milos with crystal-clear turquoise waters, and two small beaches on the north and east side of the bay. It is considered one of Milos finest. Our stay here will last 30-minutes enough time to dive of the boat, swim and snorkel and have some snacks and drinks.
3. Kleftiko is the highlight of Milos. The name actually means a place of thieves and derives from the fact that it was used for centuries by pirates as a hideout and lair. Apart from its’ pirate history, this unique combination of white and grey rocks creates one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Snorkeling here is an amazing experience complete with underwater passages, caves, and unsurpassed water clarity. You will be provided with masks, flippers, and a few tips about how to best explore this unique place. Our crew will be using our GoPro camera to take photos (some even underwater) during our stay here. This set of photos will be later sent to you by email.
4. Gerakas is one of the most famous beaches in Milos, accessible only by boat. This unique landscape is formed by huge perlite sand slides creating a pristine beach with amazing crystal-clear emerald waters. A must-see on the island. Here we will spend about one-and-a-half hours to swim and enjoy our lunch.
5. The old Sulfur Mines are located in the southeast part of Milos. These are the oldest mines in Milos, dating back to 1856, which closed down and were abandoned in 1956. This is a remote place best seen by boat.
6. Poliegos is the largest uninhabited island in Greece. Our main stop on this amazing island is the area of Galazia nera, or blue waters. The transparency and fluorescent color of the sea are beyond words making this one of the best beaches in the whole of Greece! Here we will stay for about 30 minutes to enjoy our swim, snorkel or try stand-up paddling and then have some snacks and drinks.
7. Klima was the first Capital of Milos and where the statue of Venus de Milo was discovered. While you take beautiful photos of the colorful fishing village you can also learn some historical facts about the island, as a part of our guided tour.
8. Literally translating to seagull islands this is a very rare geological phaenomenon encountered only in a small number of countries around the world. They were made by lava which under great formed hexagonal tubes.
