Itinerary
1. Torre Giralda
Sevilla´s most iconic monument.It was the minaret of the original mosque. Construction works began in 1184. At 117,50 meters high, it was on it´s day the tallest building in Europe. La Giralda have no stairs but ramps thick enough for allowing the ascension to the top while riding horses, in order to facilitate the call to the prayer 5 times a day.

2. Catedral De Sevilla
After Fernando III conquered the city to the muslims, leyend says it was decide to built a cathedral ¨so big that whoever sees it finished shall think of us as crazy men. Cathedral was built on the original site of the mosque, still preserving some parts of the original. It was declared word Heritage by UNESCO.

3. Real Alcazar de Sevilla
One of Sevilla´s most impressive monuments, deninitely a must see.
Royal Alcázar is a fortified palace. Still the official residence of the Royal Family when they visit Sevilla. Built durin the muslim period, it´s exquisite chambers and gardens had been scenario of famous production like Game of Thrones or Lawrence of Arabia

4. Plaza de Espana
Built as the Spanish pavilion for the Iberoamerican exhibition of 1929, its considered to be the masterpiece of genius architect Ánibal González. Placed inside the majestic Maria Luisa Garden, it contains references to all of the provinces of Spain as well as its different styles.

5. Parque de Maria Luisa
These garden used to belong to the San Telmo palace´s gardens, donated in 1893 by María Luisa Fernanda de Orleans to the city.Along with the impressive gardens and fountains, it helds both Plaza America and Plaza de España.

6. Torre Del Oro
Built during the muslim Almohade reign in Sevilla. It was later used to store the gold coming from the colonies in the ¨Indias Occidentales¨ (South America)

7. Barrio Santa Cruz
Placed on the old center of the city, this maze-like neighborhood used to be also the jewish quarter of the city. It is filled up with old houses, patios and palaces, as well as leyedns, romance and mistery.

8. Real Fabrica De Tabacos
Stone building from the XVIII century, it was established as the first tobacco factory in Europe. Today it helds the main building of the University of Seville

9. Río Guadalquivir
Guadalquivir river, originale named Betis in roman times, its Andalucía´s biggest river and one of the few that allows navigating in Spain, it originates on the mountains at the Sierras de Cazorla y Segura Natural Park.

10. Triana
Iconic neighborhood on the other shore of the river. Considered by may as the cultural heart of Spain,Famous for being one of the original places of Flamenco music, maestry with the ceramics, and literature. This is the place where many original Spanish explorers and conqueror where original from.

11. Real Maestranza de Caballeria de Sevilla
Originally bcreated as a military and cavalry school for the nobility in the XVII century. It´s considered to be one of the most important bullfighting arenas in the world, many say the most.
