• Identify your guide by the 'Original Berlin Walks' badge This is a walking tour - transport on the train is NOT included. You must have a valid Berlin Transport ABC Zone ticket (approx 3.30 Euros each way) that is available at the train station right next to our meeting point. We recommend bringing snacks and water for the day as there are no shops at the Memorial site.

Itinerary
1. Meet our guide at the Starbucks Café located at the beautiful market place called Hackescher Markt, and start your tour to the former concentration camp from here.
2. The key to this walking tour is the informative and illuminating narrative provided by your expert tour guide. During your 3-hour visit to the camp, you'll learn important background history of the site as you walk through the Appellplatz parade ground, the Jewish Barrack, punishment cells, execution grounds and crematorium, Station Z, the Pathology Laboratory and camp hospital. All our guides have their own special insights into the history of Sachsenhausen, and are experienced in unraveling the complex history of the Third Reich and the Holocaust.
