Redemption Instructions

✔ OPTION: Vespa with Driver (You join the tour as a passenger and do not drive the Vespa.) An additional €50 per passenger applies for this option. Payment is made in cash at check-in. ✔ OPTION: Self-Drive (You drive your own Vespa.) This option is designed for experienced riders who feel confident riding a 125cc scooter in busy city traffic. It is not suitable for beginners. Driving Requirements: • Minimum age: 18 years • Prior scooter riding experience is required • Valid driving license (EU category A or B accepted) Licenses from selected countries with reciprocal agreements are also accepted without an IDP (including UK, Switzerland, Israel and Turkey). If your license was issued outside the EU, Italian law generally requires a valid International Driving Permit (IDP). For U.S. guests: An International Driving Permit issued by AAA (or AATA) is required in addition to your driver’s license. Due to insurance and legal requirements, guests without an IDP (or official translation where applicable) cannot ride one of our Vespas. If you arrive without these documents, you may still join the tour by arranging a separate Vespa rental with a nearby partner (approximately €45, subject to availability). In that case, the rental agreement and responsibility remain with the external provider. Security Deposit: A €500 security deposit is required at check-in (credit card or cash). The deposit is fully refunded after the tour once the Vespa is returned in the same condition. Safety Check: Before departure, the guide will briefly confirm riding comfort and confidence to ensure the safety of all participants in Rome’s city traffic. If you are unsure about your riding experience, we recommend switching to the Vespa with Driver option in advance to ensure a smooth experience.
