Guests must carefully review our Snorkeling in Silfra Handbook before the tour to ensure everyone can safely participate: https://adventures.is/media/240250/arctic-adventures-snorkeling-in-silfra-fissure-guide.pdf Please note the pickup process can take up to 30 minutes. Thank you in advance for your patience. Please note that all participants must meet the following requirements: • Be able to swim & comfortable in the water • Be able to understand & communicate in English • Have a moderate level of fitness • Be within safety gear size parameters: Height: 150 cm-200 cm (4’11’’ - 6’7’’) Weight: 45-120 kg (99-265 lbs) • Have signed medical clearance from a doctor if you have any conditions outlined in the handbook For your safety, our guides reserve the right to deny participation if the above requirements are not met. *Important: Medical Conditions and Participation* Certain medical conditions disqualify guests from participating in the tour, while others require official doctor's clearance. All snorkelers must fill out a medical form before participating in the tour. For your safety, we cannot accommodate guests with the following conditions: • Heart or blood vessel disease, stroke • Heart attack • Lung disease (excluding asthma with doctor clearance) • Recent surgeries (within last 6 months) • Pregnancy • Pneumothorax (collapsed lung), other chest disease, chest surgery • Epilepsy, seizures, convulsions, or taking any related medication Please carefully review the MEDICAL STATEMENT section of the handbook to see whether you have a medical condition that requires a doctor's note to participate (asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, recent surgeries or cancer treatment, and more) Remember to inform the operator (info@adventures.is) where you would like to be picked up for your tour at least 48 hours before departure time. We only serve the pick-up locations specified in our pick-up list below. Due to traffic restrictions, we are not allowed to pick up from hotels in the city center nor from private Air BnBs. If your pick-up location is not on our pick-up list then we kindly ask you to find the closest pick-up point to your accommodation from our list.
