Redemption Instructions

MEETING POINT • The meeting point for this tour is at the Sólheimajökull Parking Lot - look for the yellow school bus with 'Arctic Adventures' on the side. To ensure a smooth start to your glacier adventure, please arrive at the meeting point 10-15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Drive safely and stay informed on conditions! You are responsible for arriving at the meeting point in time for your glacier adventure. GEAR • Hiking boots with ankle support are mandatory for this adventure. We offer rental pairs on-site. • Please note that our specialized glacier crampons are only available for shoe sizes 35-50 EU. Those with a shoe size beyond these are unfortunately unable to participate. • Please dress in layers and wear warm, waterproof clothing. TOUR INFO • The tour duration is approximately 4 hours, including safety briefing and gear up, walk to the glacier, and time on the ice. • No prior glacier experience is required; however, guests should be prepared to hike ~6km over uneven terrain with moderate elevation changes. • The tour is subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled or rescheduled for safety reasons. In the event of unfavourable conditions, we will send a cancellation email. Please check your e-mail before the tour to ensure everything is running as scheduled.
