Itinerary
1. We will explore the Old Town of Lyon and discover the old courthouse. We will uncover the secret behind the nickname "the 24 columns" given to it by the people of Lyon.
2. We will head to Bellecour square, a must-see in Lyon. It is the largest pedestrian square in Europe. It features the statue of Louis XIV and its fascinating legend.
3. Let's stop for a moment after crossing the Rhône to take in the panoramic view of the Fourvière hill and the former hospital. We will then head down to the banks of the Rhône to take the ViaRhôna all the way to Tête d'Or Park.
4. It's one of the highlights of this tour. The park and its 117 hectares of greenery in the heart of the city with make your heart melt ! We will explore part of the lake, the wildlife park, and the tropical greenhouses.
5. Can you guess why the Lyonnais call this building "the toaster"? We will give you this secret and we'll talk about the Opera House.
6. Finish your discovery of Lyon at one of the city's iconic squares: Place des Terreaux. Learn more about the buildings surrounding the square and the famous fountain created by Auguste Bartholdi.
