Itinerary
1. Learn about the history of the area before and after Napoleon the 3rd.
2. Learn about the church on stilts.
3. See the wall of I Love You. Created in 2000 the wall says I love you in every language of the world.
4. Pass by the artist studio where Picasso painted some of his most famous works.
5. Walk past this famous restaurant, frequented by artists such as Renoir, Pissaro and Van Gogh. It was the inspiration for many paintings among which Renoir's "Bal du Moulin de la Galette".
6. Learn about the history of this pink house. A great photo opportunity.
7. See the little vineyard at the top of the hill where wine is still produced today.
8. Stop in front of the famous Lapin Agile and hear the anecdote about a donkey.
9. See the square where artists still gather today.
10. See the oldest column in France dating back to Roman times and the highest point of the city.
11. Visit the inside of the basilica and learn about its history.
12. Return down the hill to the starting point at Place Pigalle. Here your guide can help with ideas for a typical french restaurant for lunch.
