Itinerary
1. Your professional tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at approximately 9 am to begin your day-tour. Start by visiting Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. Regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and the house of Chinese treasures,” this museum gives a miniature overview of thousands of years of Chinese history and the splendid cultures of ancient times. Your guide will lead you to the best treasures among all of the relics on display there.
2. Your guide will then offer suggestions of local cuisine for you to try on your own. After lunch, continue to Xi’an Museum. Located in the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, this museum is a good place to learn about the history, economy, social life and culture of Xi’an, the one-time capital of 13 dynasties.
3. Continue on to the Stele Forest Museum which is well-known nationally for its large, fine collection of more than 1,000 inscribed stones, engraved over a 2,000 year period from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Your guide will lead you through the ancient relics and art and at the end of your tour, will drive you back to your hotel.
