*PASSPORTS REQUIRED* Michelle Phillips and Ed Hopkins as both master mushers who race in the Iditarod and Yukon Quest. On this tour you will be going to their personal dog training summer camp! What sets the tour and these amazing athletes apart is their passion for the sport. On this tour we spend as much as possible at the training camp maximizing your time a the main attraction. This tour also includes so much making it easy and fun for everyone. Included in this tour is a training dog cart ride, mushers education talk, and entry. At certain times of the season puppy snuggles are also an included possibility!

Meeting and Pickup

Meeting point

1st and Broadway street are the cross streets. Approx. 15 minute walk from the Railroad dock, 10 minutes from the Ore dock, and 5 from the Broadway dock. Meet 20 minutes prior to departure time. Prior to arriving in port, record directions, busy days there may not be much service in town.

1. Skagway Alaska Downtown
Meet your guide and confirm everyone has their tickets and passports on them. Only passport books or passport cards will be accepted for this tour. This tour crosses into Canada.
2. Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park Visitor Center
This incredible park showcases the downtown area of Skagway and the 33 original buildings that are left from the gold rush completely untouched and original. We will talk about the History of the town and how the town developed.
3. Fraser Lake
The midpoint of the journey this incredible valley and lake offer stunning views all around of a glacially carved, weather torn, dwarfed tree forest. The views are otherworldly and striking.

4. Tutshi Sleddog Tours
Home of master Musher Michelle Phillips. The site is a true and authentic sled-dog summer training facility. Learn the secrets to mushing on the trails, caring for the dogs, and how they train during the summer months for their winter racing season. Be part of the action with a dog cart training ride and know that you are helping these athletes with their racing journey!

The international boarder between Alaska and Canada and a view to savor! This is a great photo stop and opportunity to take in the sights.
