Cahuita National Park: The Jungle Trail on Cahuita National Park: The Trail offers 2 kilometers trek through a secondary forest offering beautiful landscapes, various flora and fauna, and including many opportunities to see the remarkably fascinating different frog species of Costa Rica, for example the red dart frog (dendrobates pumilio), howler monkey, white face monkey, the two species of sloths and more! Inside the trail, among the abundant fauna, visitors may witness the 3 toed sloths and see the different species of birds: Toucans, oropendolas, Tanagers, Hummingbirds, kiskadees, and much more, squirrels, and the majestic butterflies that swarm through the trail.

Pickup Information

Your tour begins inside the pier, where our guides will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. Look for our red shirts for easy identification. We offer pickup right inside the pier, so there’s no need to walk outside the facilities. Timing: Tours are scheduled 30 minutes after your ship docks, with the earliest tour starting at 8:00 AM.
