Itinerary

1. 331 Santa Monica Blvd
At this stop, you’ll visit a European-style gelato bar known for making everything fresh daily in small batches. Inspired by traditional Italian techniques, the gelato is crafted in-house throughout the day using high-quality ingredients — including imported nut pastes and rich milk bases that give it that ultra-smooth texture. This is where texture becomes the star. Expect intensely creamy classics, deeply flavored pistachio and chocolate variations, and rotating seasonal options that feel refined rather than overly sweet. The difference is noticeable from the first spoonful. You’ll sample a few flavors first, then choose your own full scoop — and this is often the moment guests realize how different true gelato feels compared to standard ice cream. It’s polished, balanced, and built for people who care about quality.

2. 1456 3rd Street Promenade
Next, you’ll stop at a legendary California creamery known for super-premium, scratch-made ice cream crafted with a simple, high-quality ingredient list. Think milk and cream sourced with care, real mix-ins (not artificial shortcuts), and bold flavors that have built a loyal following for decades. This stop is all about richness and depth. Expect dense, ultra-creamy textures, classic flavors done exceptionally well, and signature combinations that feel indulgent without being overly sweet. It’s the kind of place that proves simple ingredients, done right, beat gimmicks every time. You’ll sample a few flavors first, then choose your own full scoop — and this is usually where guests debate which one is the “winner” of the tour. It’s polished, consistent, and distinctly California in both style and quality.

3. 215 Broadway
This stop brings pure fun energy — a creative dessert spot known for oversized, indulgent frozen creations built for sharing (or not). Think warm-meets-cold combinations, stacked toppings, and flavors that lean playful rather than traditional. This is where things get interactive. Expect bold builds, mix-ins layered throughout, and desserts that feel almost engineered for maximum bite-to-bite contrast. It’s not subtle — and that’s the point. You’ll sample first, then choose your own full dessert option, whether you’re craving something classic or something over-the-top. It’s high-impact, high-satisfaction, and usually the stop that gets the biggest reactions.

4. 380 Santa Monica Pier #6
Your final stop lands right on the pier at a classic oceanfront scoop shop with unbeatable beach views. This is the kind of place that feels like summer year-round — cones in hand, ocean breeze, and that unmistakable boardwalk energy. Expect familiar favorites alongside crowd-pleasing flavors that lean fun and satisfying. The portions are generous, the vibe is relaxed, and the setting does half the work — you’re literally enjoying dessert over the water. You’ll sample first, then choose your full scoop to enjoy as you take in the views. It’s the perfect way to close the tour: full, happy, and standing on one of Santa Monica’s most recognizable landmarks.
