It covers chairman Mao’s time and shows the political movements that were taking place during the New China era. This private museum was founded by Mr. Yang Pei Ming who started collecting the posters as a hobby in 1995.

From visiting these two attractions, you can get a better picture of Chinese people's hardships in old times. No matter how much they had and suffered, they still longed for a better life. During the tour, you guide will take you to a local shop to enjoy a bowl of wonton. After that, you will walk along Wukang Road for about a mile (1.2 kilometers), where you can see one of the best-preserved European-style streets in Shanghai.
