Overview

Save when you book two popular tours together: Explore Santiago on an introductory tour perfect for first-time visitors and discover Concha y Toro winery in Maipo Valley, located in the gentle foothills of the Andes mountains. Admire Santiago’s neoclassical architecture, the finance district of ‘Sanhattan’ and capture stunning city views from the Santa Lucia Hill. The next day, at Concha y Toro, taste delicious wine and explore the underground cellar that spawned the winery’s best-known wine: Casillero del Diablo. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.

Pickup Information

We provide the pick up service for the passengers located in Santiago downtown, Providencia, Las Condes and Vitacura. Your hotel have to be located nearby the LINE 1 of the metro stations, as a refference. Please let us know which is your hotel and we will be letting you know if the pick up is included, and if don't, we will let you know the meeting point for taking the service.

Itinerary

1. Central Market (Mercado Central)

We will start with a panoramic visit to the Central Market, where you can admire the architecture of the place and learn a bit more about its history.

2. Plaza de Armas

. Next, we will head to Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city, where we can admire the impressive Santiago Cathedral with its colonial architecture. However, it is possible that the cathedral may be closed for a special event or activity.

3. La Moneda

We will then continue with a walk to the Palacio de la Moneda, the seat of the Chilean government, and Plaza de la Constitución, where we will learn more about Chile's history and its institutions. Depending on the month and day, it is possible to witness the Changing of the Guard, a solemn event that regularly takes place, but this stop may be omitted due to internal activities at the Palacio de la Moneda.

4. Cerro Santa Lucia

We will then head to Cerro Santa Lucía, one of the most iconic hills of the city, where we will stop for a short walk and enjoy panoramic views of Santiago.

5. Lastarria

Our tour continues with a panoramic visit of the iconic Lastarría and Bellavista neighborhoods, known for their cultural offerings, cuisine, and art, giving us a panoramic view of local life. It is a perfect spot to soak in the atmosphere of Santiago and its historic charm.

6. Parque Bicentenario

Next, we will visit Parque Bicentenario, a beautiful green space, where you will have time for a relaxing walk in a natural environment. Optionally, if preferred by the passengers, a visit to Bluestone, a lapis lazuli store, the national stone of Chile, can be arranged, where we can admire and/or purchase beautiful jewelry and local crafts. The tour will end with a drop-off at the hotel, the entrance to Cerro San Cristóbal, or at Patio Bellavista.

7. Concha y Toro

The next day: In the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel to begin the tour. Discover Chile’s winemaking tradition at the new Concha y Toro Wine Center. The tour begins with a walk through the historic park and Don Melchor House (1883), followed by the Casillero del Diablo Sensory Experience and its legendary underground cellar. Visit the Alto Aging Cellar, where premium wines are kept, and learn about the winery’s most important milestones. From the Pirque viewpoint, enjoy panoramic vineyard views and explore the Varietal Garden with a guided tasting of four wines. The experience ends at the Wine Plaza and Wine Store, perfect for exclusive wines and souvenirs.
