Overview

The evening class is ideal for travelers who want a peaceful countryside experience at sunset. As our school is located just outside Chiang Mai, you’ll enjoy some of the most beautiful views as the sun sets over rice fields and mountains. This session gives you more time to explore the organic farm — collect fresh eggs, visit the mushroom hut, and discover Thai herbs and vegetables straight from the garden. Cooking in a cozy open-air kitchen at sunset creates a warm, memorable atmosphere. With personal guidance and a focus on understanding ingredients and techniques, you’ll leave not only with a delicious meal but also the knowledge to recreate it at home.

Pickup Information

Pick-up time is around 3:30–4:00 PM. Please wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before the scheduled time. The driver will meet you there. For guests without pick-up, please goo directly to Grandma’s Home Cooking School at the event time.

Additional Info

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap

Pick-up area: Free pick-up/drop-off for hotels within 5 km of city center. For hotels outside this area, we will arrange a nearby meeting point or advise about a small extra charge.

Each guest chooses their menu at the start of class before cooking begins.

Children under 10 are considered visitors and will not have their own station, but can join cooking with parents. If parents want them to have their own station, please book as adult price.

Guests can always feed and hug chickens; vegetable picking depends on what is ready.

Clothing: Comfortable shoes are recommended for the farm walk.
