Overview
The tour begins inside The Guy Fawkes Inn (on High Petergate, opposite Michael Le Belfrey's church). From there you'll learn about the famous conspirators and the gun powder plot, in the very birthplace of Guy Fawkes himself! We'll then proceed to York Minster yard, where you'll learn all about the Minsters rich history. We'll also visit several other famous spots in York, including The Shambles, Museum Gardens, and many more!
Meeting and Pickup
Located oposite the minster, on High Petergate, next to St Michael Le Belfrey church at 10:30 am everyday aside from Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Itinerary
1. You'll hear about the complete history of York's beautiful Minster, including details about the carvings, it's medieval history and maybe even have a chat with the stone masons!
2. Hear the rich history of the Museum Gardens and maybe even say hello to the falconers and their birds of prey!
3. Experience the history of St Mary's Abbey in Museum Gardens. This timeless gem is a must on this tour and is sure to impress any history buff!
4. Experience some the oldest places still standing in York at the Shambles and the Shambles market, along with tales that are both astounding and some a little grusome!
5. Experience the rich history of the church of All Saints Pavement, with some incredible and surprising stories!
6. Learn all about Saint Margaret Clitherow and her harrowing and noble story.
7. Learn the historical and sometimes gruesome stories of Clifford's Tower, and the history of the monarchs who are connected to it.
