1. Yu Garden or Yuyuan Garden is an extensive Chinese garden located beside the City God Temple in the northeast of the Old City of Shanghai at Huangpu District, Shanghai. It abuts the Yuyuan Tourist Mart, the Huxinting Teahouse and the Yu Garden Bazaar. When walking in the garden, you do not just focus on the huge items like buildings and bridges, but keep your eyes on the details. Much of the garden's beauty is in the tiny carvings and sculptures. You will find many clay sculptures and brick carvings, calligraphic and painting works of famous artists, as well as some inscriptions and couplets. How to get there: The Garden can be reached by Metro Line 10 and Line 14 (Yuyuan Station), as well as by bus routes 11, 26, 64, 736, 926, 929, 932, 969, 980, Fangchuan Line, etc.
