Itinerary
1. Visit the exquisite Yu Garden, a classic example of Chinese imperial garden design, and admire its tranquil pavilions, ponds, and rock formations. City God Temple visiting ONLY on EVERY MONDAY which Yu garden closed.
2. Explore Shanghai Old Street Bazzar, immersing yourself in the lively local atmosphere and traditional charm. Tea shop visiting based on your own interest.
3. After 1 hour driving, once arrvie in Zhujiajiao, you will enjoy a Shanghai-style light meal. Then step into a postcard-perfect scene as you arrive in Zhujiajiao, one of Shanghai’s most charming ancient water towns. Exploring its winding canals, cobblestone streets, and well-preserved traditional homes. Visit historic gardens, learn about local customs, and soak in the timeless beauty of this Jiangnan gem.
4. Kezhi Garden in Zhujiajiao is a grand Chinese-Western private manor built in 1912–1927 by businessman Ma Wenqing. It combines classic Jiangnan garden landscapes with European-style details, divided into scholarly and farming zones. It’s the highlight of a Zhujiajiao trip.
5. Arrive at the Bund, where your tour officially ends. Take in the breathtaking night view of Shanghai’s illuminated skyline, and optionally extend your experience with a Huangpu River cruise.
