Do you want to immerse yourself in the culture and spirit of Samurai while you are in Japan? In this 6-hour Tokyo walking tour, you can experience the Samurai Martial arts of "Iaido" in a traditional uniform! "Iaido" is the martial art of using a Japanese Samurai swordsmanship. You will be able to learn about this on this tour! You will learn Bushido, the Way of the Samurai, as well as sword technique through this experience. After a history lesson, basic demonstration, it is your turn to try swordsmanship alongside your instructor. Your samurai experience tour also comes with a walking tour. You can visit some sights of your choosing with your guide. Please budget about 2 hours for each sight. Note *1: This is NOT a stunt show or Ninja/Samurai show. Note *2: Your guide will drop you off at Jidaiya after a 5-hour walking tour. Start time: Your start time for the experience may vary. The estimated time for the experience will be about 5 hours from the start of the tour.

Pickup Information

This private tour is a walking tour. A private vehicle is not included. Public transportation or local taxis maybe used to transfer between sites. Exact transportation costs can be discussed with the guide after a reservation is finalized. Please have Japanese Yen on hand for your transportation costs. Please be aware that we can only pick you up within Tokyo 23 Special Wards.
