1. [Terracotta Warriors] These Army of Terra-Cotta Warriors were supposed to safeguard Chinese first emperor – Qin Shihuang in his afterlife. He unified China in 221 BC for the first time in Chinese history and established Qin Dynasty (221–206 B.C.), thus starting China’s over 2000 years’ feudal society You are kindly reminded that Qin Shihuang’s underground palace is still there and remains intact though some of the burial sites annexing to his mausoleum have been robbed. 2. The Huaqing Palace, at the foot of Lishan Mountain in Xi'an, Shaanxi, has a long - standing history. Originating from the Zhou Dynasty as a royal hot spring palace, it was expanded into a magnificent imperial resort in the Tang Dynasty. The complex combines beautiful gardens, elegant palaces, and natural hot springs, blending architecture with nature perfectly. Notably, it was where Emperor Xuanzong and his concubine Yang Yuhuan enjoyed a romantic life. The Mawei Incident, a significant event in Tang history, also happened nearby. Nowadays, it draws many tourists. They can soak in hot springs, visit historical sites, and watch the show "The Song of Everlasting Sorrow", which tells the love story of the emperor and Yang Yuhuan. It's a symbol of ancient Chinese imperial culture.
