Itinerary
1. Your friendly local guide and the driver will pick up at your Suzhou hotel or Suzhou railway station, enjoy the comfortable ride to the water town Tongli, located in Wujiang city, the town still keep as the most authentical life with the history about 1000 years and preserves its traditional ancient residences along the old canals and stone bridges. Upon arrival you will take a scroll along the old alley streets and explore the Ming and Qing street with colorful stores, arts, handicrafts etc.
2. Pay a visit to the UNESCO site Tuisi Garden and admire the elegant south-east garden with charming architecture, rockeries ponds, take a break to enjoy a delightful lunch or dinner at the local restaurant. Enjoy a walk cross the three lucky ring bridge and appreciate the amazing township scenery.
3. Later drive to Zhouzhuang, located in Kunshan city, the town is famed as the No.1 water town in China and also the top 10 most beautiful small towns by CNN. With about 900 years history, the town still keeps its traditional Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture, ancient stone bridges and winding canals, spend some quality time to explore this amazing town with your local expert guide, visit twin bridges ,Mr.Zhang or Mr.Shen’s old residences and get a great understanding of the local custom, culture and sounds. Here you may choose to enjoy a relaxing gondola ride to fully appreciate the charm of the “ Oriental Venice” After a wonderful day excursion, your tour will end with a transfer back to your hotel or a drop-off at your chosen downtown Suzhou area.
