• This experience is available to international travellers only. Reservations made by residents of Japan may be cancelled.
• Everyday clothing is suitable, and kimono rental is available as an optional extra.
• Please wear socks or the tabi socks provided by the facility.
• Photography is permitted, but avoid photographing staff or other participants.
• Inform the venue in advance if you have allergies to matcha or Japanese sweets.
• Refrain from using mobile phones during the experience.

Description

Join a shared tea ceremony and learn the philosophy, preparation and etiquette of the Japanese tea ritual. Includes an instructor-led demonstration, seasonal wagashi and hands-on preparation of your own bowl of matcha. Valid only for international travellers and cannot be purchased by Japanese residents.

Cancellation of at least 8 days before travel date: 100% refund Cancellation between 8 days and 4 days before travel date: 70% refund Cancellation between 4 days and 48 hrs before travel date: 60% refund Extra cancellation or refund fees may apply.
