Overview
Chimei Museum, the first museum inspired by Western architecture in Taiwan, holds an expansive collection of Western art, musical instruments, and weaponry. The museum has permanent exhibition galleries, sculpture halls, and a temporary exhibition gallery, as well as an outdoor garden decorated with sculptures.

- Free admission is granted for visitors with a disability ID together with one companion, visitors studying in Tainan City with a valid student ID, Tainan district residents with proof of residency, and tour guides holding ID passes issued by Taiwan's Tourism Bureau or Ministry of Transportation and Communications. A valid photo ID is required.
- Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
