Throughout its history the Lost World complex was rebuilt several times. By the 250s-300s AD, his architectural style was influenced by the city of Teotihuacán in the valley of Mexico and included the use of the slope-board style. During the Early Classic period (c. 250–600), the Lost World became one of the city's two focal points, the other being the North Acropolis.
