Itinerary

1. Meetingpoint for the tour, (we do not enter the Museum) Our tour starts and ends at the Mauritshuis, an important historic landmark built for count Johan Maurits. It marks the Dutch Golden Century and its museum halls can be visited after the tour to see both the latest exhibitions and classical pieces from Rembrandt and Vermeer.
Duration: 15 mins
2. Discover the difference between Hagenaars en Hagenezen, often referenced by The Hague's key figure 'Haagse Harry' in its eponymous comic books. We will stop for a photo at the iconic statue of this local hero.
Duration: 15 mins
3. Tread in the footsteps of royalty before the majestic Royal Palace Noordeinde, where the Dutch royal family resides. If you are lucky, you may see them waving at the crowds from their balcony.

4. Step into the beautiful gardens of the Royal Palace, where locals come together for a stroll or a picnic.
5. Walk through the courtyard of the Binnenhof, where the Dutch government holds parliament. Learn about its ambiguous origin, how it held up through the centuries and see the members of parliament ride their bicycle to the office. The Ridderzaal is accessible with a guided tour, which can be done after the tour.
