Welcome to a relaxed, home-style cooking school tucked away in the countryside near the village of Bellaghy in Mid Ulster. Join Bronagh in her cosy kitchen and experience hands-on learning with fresh, local ingredients. As you cook, you’ll explore Irish food traditions, from baking soda, wheaten, and potato breads to creating dishes rooted in local culture, using her family recipes. There are also foraging experiences, where we head outdoors to gather seasonal wild ingredients to turn into delicious dishes, drinks, jams, sauces or desserts. Afternoon tea classes are available, where participants make their own scones, breads, soups, mini cakes, and treats. At the end you can sit down together to enjoy a beautifully set afternoon tea with your creations. These classes are about building confidence, removing the intimidation from cooking, and making food that feels like home. Come cook, forage, bake, and share in the joy of food and tradition with us.
