As a result, certain itinerary locations — especially Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba — may need to be shortened or removed from the tour schedule on that day. About 5-mins walk form Shinagawa Station Konan Exit. 1. Climb the stairs to the top of Mt. Arakura to enjoy one of the most famous views in the whole country: Chureito Pagoda with beautiful Mt. Fuji in the background

Arakurayama Sengen Park is a park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, famous for the iconic Chureito Pagoda, which offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji, the pagoda, and cherry blossoms in spring. To reach the pagoda and observation deck, visitors must climb a total of 398 steps. The park also includes the Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and provides year-round views, with spring being particularly popular for its cherry blossoms.
3. The Niikurayama Asama Park Observation Deck is the highest observation deck in Japan, offering an enviable view of Mount Fuji. Located halfway up Niikurayama, the view after climbing the 398 steps is well worth the effort.
4. Visit Kawaguchiko Craft Park, located by the tranquil shores of Lake Kawaguchi. 6. Shinkura Fuji Sengen Shrine is a historic shrine founded in 750 AD. Its symbol is a five-storied pagoda, and when the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji from here.
7. Shimoyoshida Station Blue Train Terrace is not just an ordinary rail museum; it is a vibrant tribute to the history and culture of Japan's railways. Located in the picturesque city of Fujiyoshida, this charming spot allows visitors to step back in time as they explore a collection of vintage locomotives and railway memorabilia. The museum is designed to provide an interactive experience, making it ideal for families, train enthusiasts, and anyone eager to learn about the evolution of train travel in Japan.
8. At the Oishi Tsumugi Traditional Craft Museum, you can see the history of Oishi Tsumugi and purchase strong, light, and soft silk fabrics made using traditional techniques that have been passed down since the Edo period.
9. Kawaguchiko Music Forest is a one of a kind musical them park, designed with a “European Alps” atmosphere standing beneath a superb view of Mt. Fuji. It holds a world-class collection of automatic musical instruments, including the world's largest "dance organ and doll orchestra" and the Philharmonic Performance Orchestrion designed for the Titanic.
10. In 1994, a dyeing artist, Itchiku Kubota (1917-2003),built the museum in its perfect location with a majestic view of Mt.Fuji and the serene Lake Kawaguchi. The museum permanently exhibits Itchiku Tsujigahana works with the two main themes of "trinity of humans, nature, and art" and "the center of new culture and art." The whole museum, including the garden, buildings, and furnishings, represents "the world of Itchiku."
11. The museum is at the foot of majestic Mt.Fuji and faces a beautiful lake.It holds the permanent exhibition of a large collection of Mt.Fuji-related arts like paintings, prints, and photos. The special exhibition widely range in various fields like ancient art through contemporary art from within and without. The inside of the museum, there is a museum shop and a tea lounge where you can take a rest enjoying the view of the lakeside.
12. Head to Oishi park which offers seasonal scenery with various types of flowers all year long on the banks of Lake Kawaguchiko. Try taking pictures of flowers with Mt.Fuji's reflection on the lake in the background!

Fuji Oishi Hana Terrace is a spot that focuses on a low-rise, spacious design for shops in line with landscape standards without destroying the outstanding natural scenery of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi and the lakeside landscape that is steeped in history and culture, and the white exterior walls and stone pavement that accentuate the flowers create an attractive atmosphere.
14. Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center is located in an ideal spot surrounded by Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. You can find many items here, including blueberry-related souvenirs and gifts.
15. With an elevation of 3,776 meters, Mount Fuji, Japan's tallest mountain, was designated as a World Heritage Site not only for its natural beauty and value as a renowned peak but also because its cultural significance—deeply rooted in Japanese faith and as a source of artistic inspiration—was internationally recognized. As a World Heritage Site, Mount Fuji encompasses not just the mountain itself but also surrounding shrines and hiking trails associated with it, totaling 25 component assets.
16. Finally, stop by Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba which is located on the banks of Lake Saiko. Take a stroll through the village and marvel at the houses with thatched roofs which will give you a glimpse into life in Japan in the olden days.

The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions.

Infants under 3 years old are free of charge without seat. If a seat is required, please book under the child's price.

Regarding luggage, we allow one piece of luggage per person during the excursion. Please also ensure that the luggage is manageable and fits comfortably within our vehicle. (The maximum size for luggage stored in the trunk should not exceed a total of 155cm- combined height, width, and depth.) Please also be aware that any items stored in the trunk will not be accessible in between stops on the tour, so keep all valuables with you.

Note: Visibility of Mt. Fuji cannot be guaranteed, as it is dependent on weather conditions which are beyond our control. Please also be aware that reaching the viewing platform next to Chureito Pagoda requires some climbing of stairs.

This tour will depart regardless of weather or traffic conditions, unless you are notified otherwise by the local operator. Trip Advisor / Viator and your local tour operator will not be responsible for itinerary changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

In November, the tour itinerary will slightly change to make sure you have the best experience of Japanese autumn in the Mt. Fuji area! After visiting Lake Kawaguchi Craft Park, we will move on to one of the lake’s best spots for foliage, a colorful corridor of more than 400 maple trees creating a unique fall atmosphere!

Please refrain from booking any time-sensitive activities such as restaurant reservations, cruise ship departures, or other scheduled commitments immediately following your tour.

Depending on the number of participants, English and Chinese commentary might be given on the same bus.

Our guide will be holding the flag shown in the picture at the meeting location.

Please arrive 10 minutes before departure at your selected meeting point, as your assigned bus & guide will be based on that specific location. The guide has a list of participants for each bus & may not be able to accommodate guests who arrive at a different meeting point. Late arrival or arrival at the wrong location will result in missing the tour, & refunds won't be issued. If you'd like to change your meeting point or are unsure about the meeting point, please notify us at least 2 days before departure for assistance.
