This experience takes you to Su Nuraxi di Barumini, Sardinia's most celebrated archaeological site, in the rolling landscapes of the Marmilla region. Its central tower once rose to over 60 feet, built from massive basalt blocks without mortar. Around it, four secondary towers and huge walls form an extraordinary complex, surrounded by the remains of an ancient village. After Su Nuraxi, you'll visit Casa Zapata, a 16th-century manor with a surprising secret: an entire nuraghe beneath the building, visible through a glass walkway.
