Itinerary

1. Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center
The Tourist Information Office, located in front of Nakamise Street. Reaching the highest floor, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the entire surrounding area.
Duration: 15 mins
2. Senso-ji Temple
Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple, surrounded by shrines and pagodas rich in history. The temple is preceded by the iconic Kaminarimon (thunder portal) and Nakamise Street, a historic shopping street full of stores where snacks and souvenirs can be purchased.

3. Hoppy Street
A street entirely dedicated to Hoppy: historic beer-based drink, mixed with shochu (a distilled spirit) that, during the postwar period, replaced beer in the historic izakaya of the time.

4. Kappabashi Street (Kappabashi Dogugai)
A shopping street located between Ueno and Asakusa. It became popular because of dozens of stores specializing in the sale of kitchen tools.
