Itinerary

1. Trg Republike

We start a tour at one of the most busy places of the downtown - at Trg Republike. Many citizens come by this square when they head to the office in the morning or meet here their friends in the evening. So do we.

2. Stari Grad (Old Town)

No food tour in Serbia is complete without tasting fresh burek! At the authentic bakery (pekara), try local's favorite breakfast: crispy filo dough stuffed with meat, cheese, or even chocolate. Our guide will explain the regional burek debate and introduce you to popara, a simple yet nostalgic dish from a rural area.

3. Bajloni Market Belgrade

Wander through a vibrant local market brimming with fresh produce, cured meats, and artisanal cheeses. Taste ajvar, homemade kajmak, and smoked prosciutto while discovering what Serbians cook at home. Our guide will show you the secrets of seasonal cuisine and the key ingredients that define Serbian flavor.

4. Skadarska

Stroll down Belgrade’s most bohemian street, Skadarska, where music, poetry, and strong spirits meet. Have a sample of homemade rakija (fruit brandy) and learn how Serbs drink with soul. From grape to plum, quince to honey – each sip tells a story. Raise a glass, say Živeli! and soak in the living spirit of Serbian hospitality.
