I’ll listen first, and we’ll go from there. We can visit Meiji Jingu, explore Takeshita Street or Omotesando, browse shops, try something new, practice Japanese in a real situation, or simply sit down over coffee and talk. And if something catches your attention along the way, ask me. We might stop, change direction, or discover something neither of us had planned. I’m Fumie, a Japanese teacher and local guide. I was born in Osaka, now live in Tokyo, and have lived in and traveled around Japan. I don’t speak for everyone in Japan. To me, there isn’t just one Japan.
