Pickup Information

1) The driver will be at the hotel 5 mins before the start of the tour. 2) Start time of the tour for North Mumbai hotels will vary. 3) If you are staying at the ship at the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal and need a pick-up from outside the ship, there we be additional cost of Rs 1000/- per person. This amount is to be paid in cash to the guide or the driver at the start of the tour.

1. Gateway Of India
The emblem of Mumbai tourism, this victory arch was built to welcome the British Queen to the city, and it’s only befitting to have it as our first stop.

2. The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai
Landmark Hotel that has hosted the likes of Barack Obama, the Beatles and a host of other celebrities in its century old lifetime.
3. Royal Bombay Yacht Club
One of the oldest clubs in Mumbai, Royal Mumbai Yacht Club was built by John Adams and Charles Stevens and hence quite appropriately is located between Charles and Adams Street.
4. Maharashtra Police Headquarters
Earlier the Mendham's Point- graveyard and also the Alfred Sailors club - The Headquarters has some dexterous work out in by John Lockwood Kipling
5. National Gallery of Modern Art
Government run contemporary art gallery in Mumbai
6. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya
Prince of Wales Museum is the city museum and was christened as Chatrapti Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangralay in 1995. It served as a hospital for the injured soldiers in World War I

The Bombay High court was built in the form of a German castle. It was in this court that the jury system was abolished
9. Rajabai Clock Tower
The Big Ben of Mumbai, this structure was built by generous donation from Premchand Roychand, a Mumbai based businessman. It still chimes old British tunes once every 15 minutes.
10. Dhobi Ghat Ground
The glorious open air laundry where at one time all of Mumbai's clothes were washed.

11. Churchgate Railway Station
Dabbawalas (Shut on weekends) or the 6 sigma workers of Mumbai send over 5, 00, 000 boxes of lunch daily to their rightful owners with extreme precision. Studied by consultants and business schools for the secrets of their proclaimed near-flawless efficiency, the dabbawalas have been feted by British royals (Prince Charles) and titans of industry (Richard Branson) alike. Even FedEx, which supposedly knows something about logistics, has paid them a visit.

Tour the local spice market with us and you can not only buy the spices, but can also get them dry roasted and ground into the masala mix of your choice before your own eyes.

13. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus
An alternative to the volunteering activity is the amazing and sometimes crazy but completely unmissable experience of travelling in the Mumbai Local! You also learn about the stunning architecture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from where the first train operated in India departed.
