Overview

The Uffizi Gallery holds one of the greatest collections of Renaissance art in the world—but it’s also one of the most overwhelming. This 2-hour guided tour helps you make the most of your visit, with timed entry ticket and a focused route through its most important works. Led by a licensed art historian, your guide will take you through the gallery in chronological order. You’ll begin with Medieval religious panels, then see how artists began using perspective, light, and anatomy to transform painting into what we recognize today. Discover Renaissance masterpieces like Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, works by Leonardo da Vinci, and more, while learning how art evolved over centuries. The tour concludes on the Uffizi terrace, where you can enjoy sweeping views over Florence.
