Itinerary

1. Grabouw

2. Elgin Valley Honey
This is a huge lush area of land surrounded by mountains in the Overberg region of the Western Cape province. This area is 70 km southeast of Cape Town, just beyond the Hottentots-Holland Mountains. This region is one of the more intensively farmed districts which produces 60% of the national apple crop. A recent economic shift means Elgin is also becoming one of the country's most notable and successful wine regions. This is because Elgin has the coolest climate of any region in South Africa. Hence Elgin wines and tourism have consequently become significant parts of the valley's economy.
3. Caledon
This is another town in the Overberg region in the Western Cape South Africa at least 100 km along the N2 freeway. Located next to the mineral-rich hot springs. This is mainly an agricultural region whose activities involve grain production with a certain amount of stock farming. The town is locally known for the Caledon Spa and Casino as well as its rolling hills and yellow canola fields.
4. Bredasdorp
This is a very historic town in the Overberg region of the Western Cape province in South Africa. It is also the main economic and service hub, lying 160 km from Cape Town and only 35 km from Cape Agulhas. The main attraction here include the Heuningberg Nature Reserve, many historical churches, art galleries and art and craft shops. Bredasdorp is also home to the Shipwreck Museum which details stories of 150 wrecks along the Agulhas Reef This is the only museum of its kind in the southern hemisphere. The farming community are known to produce merino sheep in large numbers.

This is the geographical southern tip of Africa and is a popular landmark. Explore this popular location which was discovered by Portuguese sailors in the year 1500 and is the beginning of the dividing line between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. This location has a spectacular coastline, which is gradually curving with rocky and sand beaches. Take a walk on the shallow waters and enjoy the soft granular sand under your feet.
