Overview
Do you have what it takes to figure out who killed Jimmy Capello, how, and why? He was poisoned, strangled AND stabbed... popular guy! You will be met by a real person in character as a detective who will send you on your murder investigation and give you everything you need to play. Work your way through Gastown in teams of 2 to 6 players, picking up clues and solving puzzles along the way. You'll see historic places, public art, architecture and other attractions. This outdoor escape room mystery game is *real* fun - there is no app to download, no wifi or devices required. You'll be too busy exploring Gastown in downtown Vancouver to look at your phone (but don't forget to take photos)! Can you earn a top score and your place on our website and Instagram page? Each team receives a team certificate with their score and each player receives a souvenir sticker. Are you ready to solve this murder mystery? You have two hours to catch a killer!

Itinerary
1. The murder investigation starts at a secret starting location close to Waterfront Station, at the edge of Gastown. (The start location will be approximately a 5 minute walk from here - watch your messages for your secret start location.)
2. A 3,000 pound, seven foot tall, bronze statue of an angel carrying a fallen soldier up to heaven. There are 3 of these statues in Canada at CPR stations in Vancouver, Winnipeg and Montreal since 1921.
3. Vancouver British Columbia's historic neighbourhood and popular tourist destination with cobble stone streets, restaurants and shopping.
4. This thriving bar used to be a saloon during the Goldrush.
5. Now the game is afoot! Don't forget to get a picture with your friends at this famous part of Gastown.
6. You are surrounded by history and coffee shops on all sides when you stop here to look for a clue.
7. This experience takes place in downtown Vancouver - you have two hours to solve the mystery and return to your detective, who will calculate your score.
8. Solve the final challenge almost directly beneath this Vancouver icon, the observation desk at the top of Harbour Centre. Return after the game for a top notch view of the city. (Admission not included in game price.0
9. One of several flatiron buildings you will see along your route, this may be the oldest.
10. Shopping, restaurants and bars plus a diverse neighbourhood of residents and businesses.
11. Old and tall trees are all on sides when you stand in this square at the junction of Carrall, Powell and Water streets. It was also the site of one of the earliest saloons in Gastown and still leads you to Gaoler's Mews and Blood Alley.
12. Said to be the location of Vancouver's first jail. Can you hear the ghosts of the prisoners? Now it's home to two fantastic and award-winning restaurants: L'Abbatoir and Meet.
13. The best place to learn how to swashbuckle or duel - a school for sword play and axe throwing.
14. If you are looking for fake moustaches, feather boas (and of course fabrics for sewing) this is the place!
15. Take a glass elevator up 168 meters (553 feet) to enjoy a 360° view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the Northshore mountains and the vibrant downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been an iconic element of the city’s skyline since 1977.
